Welcome to our website. Lewis, Kisch & Associates, Ltd. is a full service certified public accounting and management consulting firm. We have created this website to better acquaint you with the services our firm has to offer.

Services

Accounting and Audit
We provide audit, compilation and review services including business tax planning. Our top priority is providing quality service to our clients. Toward that end, we have taken many steps to ensure that our firm is knowledgeable in all areas of the profession. Our continuing education policy exceeds the minimum requirements set for the profession by requiring that all of our accounting staff, not just the CPA staff, accumulate at least 40 hours of annual continuing education. We provide an extensive professional library, along with a variety of publications that are updated weekly covering many different areas of concern. An experienced and highly qualified member of our firm will be present at all times during audit fieldwork. We will not train new staff by letting them do all of the audit fieldwork.

The firm’s computer network runs a variety of accounting and general ledger packages and we take the necessary steps to ensure that client information is secure at all times. We developed a quality control document, and adopted policies and procedures that more than allow us to meet the requirements of the AICPA; and after numerous peer reviews that resulted in unqualified opinions with no letter of comments, we now perform numerous peer reviews for other firms. By having the firm's shareholders performing all of the audits we remain a small firm. Although we are growing, we do not believe that our growth should compromise our quality of service.

Tax
Our tax preparation and advisory services are geared to assist clients with tax planning, income tax return preparation and representation before government agencies at the federal and state levels. We provide tax planning services to our clients, both business and individual, throughout the year; advise them on the tax consequences of business and investment decisions, recommend tax savings strategies and help our clients comply with tax law.

Other
Our management consulting services also include valuing closely-held businesses. Our valuations are useful in determining whether to purchase or sell a business. A business valuation may also be necessary in litigation, contract negotiations, loan proposals or general business planning.

We have provided expert testimony and general consulting services to counsel in marital dissolution, partnership dissolution, personal injury and loss of earnings cases.
Our estate planning services focus on helping our clients in structuring their estates to meet their needs and wishes. Our services include preparation of estate, trust and gift tax returns.

Computerized bookkeeping services are also offered.
