Lewis, Kisch & Associates, LtdCertified Public Accountants 1303 South Frontage Road, Suite 3 Firm Profile The CPA firm of Lewis, Kisch & Associates, Ltd. was formed on November 1, 1988 in Hastings, Minnesota, when Jim Lewis and John Kisch along with a group of staff accountants and employees withdrew from a larger firm. The founding shareholders had been shareholders in their prior firm and have a combined 76 years of public accounting experience serving businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations. On January 1, 1990, Carol Sailer, the tax manager for the firm, became the third shareholder. Carol has 29 years of public accounting experience. In 2007, Tom Madsen became the fourth shareholder. As an audit manager, Tom brings a great deal of expertise to the firm. As of January 2008, John Kisch was no longer a shareholder, but retained the role of consultant to the firm and continues to share his knowledge and expertise. The current accounting and tax staff average well over 10 years of public accounting experience. The top priority of our firm is providing quality services to our clients. Toward that end, we have developed a quality control document and adopted the procedures that more than allow us to meet the requirements of the American Institute of CPAs. We are members of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA, the most stringent body in the profession for non-SEC work. We are also members of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and the Government Audit Quality Center. We are proud that we have received unqualified opinions on our system of quality control as a result of our last several peer reviews. We are now performing numerous peer reviews for other firms. Our continuing education policy exceeds the minimum requirements set for our profession. Not only must our CPA staff accumulate 40 hours of annual continuing education, but we require our entire accountant staff to meet this level. Our most important product is expert, personalized and prompt accounting services for our clients. This philosophy is reflected in the fact that every service we perform for each client has the direct, personal supervision of one of our shareholders. We take tremendous professional and personal pride in being responsive to our client's needs. We are available when our clients need us, and often before they realize a problem exists. Handling potentially troublesome situations before they evolve into problems leaves a lot more time and energy to devote toward productive opportunities. Our goal is to continually improve as a firm and individually. We are confident that we can provide quality financial advice and service while maintaining a reasonable fee structure. Personal, professional and timely delivery of service is important to both the firm and its clients. We consider this to be the foundation of client satisfaction, and accordingly, all of those associated with our firm are committed to continuing this approach.
