Jim Lewis
Jim's background includes extensive experience with national and local public accounting firms. His clientele include manufacturing, contractor, wholesale, retail, real estate, non-profit and governmental organizations. He has had considerable experience as an expert witness and consultant in addition to audit, tax and financial services. Jim has performed hundreds of system, engagement and report peer reviews. He has also written monthly peer review articles for the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants newsletter, The Mapan.

Jim is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Minnesota Society of CPAs, and the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants.  Jim was a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, and serves or has served on the Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa Societies of CPAs and the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants Peer Review Committees.

Carol Sailer
Carol is the firm’s tax manager, and has 29 years of experience in public accounting.  Carol's background includes contractors, moving companies, professional firms, real estate, retailers and peer reviews.  She has an extensive concentration in tax planning and preparation for businesses, individuals, non-profits, pension plans, trusts and estates.

Carol is a member and a Tax Division member of the American Institute of CPAs, a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants.  She is currently serving on the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants Peer Review Committee, and has served on and chaired the Minnesota Society of CPAs Continuing Professional Education Committee.

Tom Madsen
Tom joined the firm out of college in 2000, and became a shareholder in 2007.  His experience is in both audit and tax, with a focus in small businesses and nonprofit organizations.  Tom's clientele include nonprofit organizations, manufacturers, contractors, retirement plans, government organizations, lawful gambling funds, professional firms, retailers, and cooperatives.

Tom is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Minnesota Society of CPAs, and the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants.
